Sequencing of Isolates used in my MFC
Testing if bacteria metabolize substrates therefore creating electricity or if substrates added or ions and acidity in the soil generate the electrical output.
Testing is Isolated bacteria from the MFCs electrode can create a significant charge showing that bacteria can create electricity. Also with the sequencing the bacteria found in this study were different from what literature cites as the Shewanella and Geobacter species contributing the electrical output of a MFC.
Testing if other bacteria not found in the MFC can create a significant charge in the electrical output of a MFC.
This graph shows the significance of the spikes to see if bacteria an create significant spikes in electrical output using confidence intervals.
